Doesn’t seem to be working, where in the hosts file do I put the magic line? Is it replacing a line or is it going to the very bottom under the local host line?

It’s going to be at the very bottom under the local host line.

Any help you could give would be brilliant.

Hi guys are you okay?
I did the tutorial step by step as reported.
But iphone5 continues in the activation screen.
And itunes enters the device management screen as if it were unlocked.
Did I do something wrong? Skipped some step?
Mark:
As the article says, this isn’t a complete unlock. I don’t think a complete unlock is possible. Apple still has the serial number or IMEI for the device and would still know it’s supposed to be locked. The moment you connect to their servers, which iOS 7 and 8 will automatically do, they will tell the device it’s supposed to be locked. Unless you can change the serial or IMEI, which is impossible, it will always be locked.
